The opportunity to help shape its next chapter is happening now.
Jersey Geopark is working towards UNESCO Global Geopark status, with 33 sites already shortlisted across the island’s coastline and countryside.
If successful, it would give Jersey international recognition for an extraordinary landscape shaped by fire, ice, sea and human hands, while opening up new opportunities for education, conservation, sustainable tourism and island pride.
But achieving recognition is only part of the ambition.
We want to turn Jersey’s story into something people can experience. Something children can hold in their hands, visitors can walk, Islanders can discover, and future generations can inherit.
