Celebrate World Wetlands Day 2025 with Geopark Partner, Jersey Marine Conservation's evening and schools event.

Geopark Partner, Jersey Marine Conservation’s celebration for World Wetland Day this year will be bigger than ever before with a series of free talks on Sunday 2 February 2025 and a schools event on the Monday 3 February 2025.
This will all take place at the Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront Hotel, St Helier.
There will also be a welcoming exhibition in the Foyer that will include a chance to meet the speak find out about our associated organisations.

Schools will get the opportunity on the Monday to engage in the work of numerous conservation organisations and will get the chance to drive the Ports of Jersey & JMC ROVs (Remotely Operated Vehicle), test their geology knowledge with Jersey’s Geopark expert, complete the Blue Marine Foundation species quiz and learn about seal & dolphin rescue from the British Divers Marine Life Rescue, operate the Plastic Free Jersey ‘Nurdleator’ plus much more.
